Sharon's love of drawing began early – and has been an avocation throughout her professional years as a pediatric speech language pathologist. Over the years, her drawings and original oils began to reflect a particular interest in portraiture.

After retirement, Sharon was able to pursue art on a full-time basis and began studying with Susana Cremin, a well known watercolorist in Florida, who is particularly revered for her portraits. Sharon since has completed several commissioned works as well as exploration of various watercolor techniques.

Most recently Sharon has ventured into children's literature illustration and has just completed the first book in the Bailey Speaks! series, designed for young children and early speech language learning. For further information please go to the website: www.baileyspeaks.com.
